Accreditation & Certification
The Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education accredits the ACR to provide continuing medical education for physicians. ACR designates its educational activitys for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ and offers activities designated for American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) MOC points.
The ACR also offers certification to individual physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners who perform musculoskeletal ultrasound as part of their practice of rheumatology. The Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Certification in Rheumatology™ - RhMSUS™ certification demonstrates competency in musculoskeletal ultrasound and promotes quality of care.
